I was really glad to find this site. I spent 3 hours in a Borders the other day looking for the right book, not really knowing where to even start. Found my way here through some Native American links. I have felt pulled tremendously in the spiritual sense but am not sure in which direction to go. I was raised baptist by my mother, my father was more of a atheist, both living under the same roof. Needless to say, I've always been a little confused when it came to my own spirituality. My friend who lives in St.Thomas, VI,had her niece from London England pick up some castor Oil I noticed it had Edgar CAyce's name on it. I didn't get a chance to ask her about it; but thought I would research Edgar Cayce's name via the internet. I have vaguely heard about Mr. Cayce but plan to read more about him via the internet. The bottle of castor oil had a U.S. state of Virginia on it as being distributed from that state. Her niece was visting me here in Baltimore while awaiting her aunts' arrival from St. Thomas.

I have found an inner peace by using medicine wheel and smudging cerimonies. I take my kids, 5 of them, and we go to Red Rock Canyon and practice listening, looking, and feeling the world around us. It is my way of becoming centered and I hope my children are also learning to appreciate the world from the Native American view point. No one in my family has any relation to any tribe by blood, but in the heart, I am definetely getting some Native roots. I wish I could travel back in time to a point when the warriors rode free and proud. To a time before whites became a plague worse than the black death. I respect the Native Americans of the past as well as the present. I hope by teaching my children that they will teach others to see things from the heart not the stigmas of skin color. sincerely, and with all my heart, do I wait for my dreams to come true. The other night I was watching Unsolved Mysteries, a television show that covers many mysteries of all kinds of subjects and Edgar Cayce caught my eye. One patient of Edgar cayce had a severe skin disorder that he was able to cure.
