"Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. |
|
What this Course has given us at Peaceful Paths, we can never hope to
quantify, or express adequately. Its message of love and forgiveness feels
so right, so encouraging, and so uplifting. Though it is radically different
from anything we've ever learned, in our hearts we know it as truth. Yes,
it can be disconcerting; but we are left with an intense gratitude, as it
guides us toward "miraclemindedness." We hope the following quotes will convey
at least a small part of its wondrous teachings:
"The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is
beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to
the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance"
(Introduction).
"Miracles are examples of right thinking, aligning your perceptions with
truth as God created it" (Text - 1.I 36:1).
"No right mind can believe that its will is stronger than God's. If, then,
a mind believes that its will is different from His, it can only decide either
that there is no God, or that God's will is fearful" (Text - 9.I 8:2)
"Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual
themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal
curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form.
They all lead to God in the end" (Preface, p. ix).
"A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not
only possible, but necessary. It is this experience toward which the
course is directed" (Manual, p. 77).
"When you have learned how to decide with God, all decisions become as
easy and as right as breathing. There is no effort, and you will be led as
gently as if you were being carried down a quiet path in summer" (Text -
14.IV 6:1).
